As the bank that’s been here to help since 1817, the Bank of Montreal challenged us to mark their 200th birthday with a gift that gave back. The result was the BMO200 fountain, a 17-foot, interactive, kinetic sculpture designed to help people wish it forward. Made entirely of flip dots, activated by tossing a digital coin from your mobile device, it was a first of its kind. Complemented by a fully integrated campaign, including a library of digital content made of the most memorable wishes fulfilled, the real measure of success wasn’t just the tremendous scale of the year-long program, but the lasting impact it had on communities nationwide.
